Holiday home on the edge of the hillside village Vasilitsi at about 75 meters above sea level with fantastic sea views on a very quiet main road.
There are also a few holiday homes in this neighborhood.
In the hilltop village Vasilitsi you can walk to the local supermarket for the necessary shopping and where you can buy fresh bread in the morning. in the summer there is a busy tavern called ‘Nikos’ after the owner who often runs the kitchen in a Che Guevara T-shirt.
Located about 10 minutes by car from two beautiful and popular sandy beaches called Memi Beach and ‘Kalamaki Beach’. The authentic and lively harbor town Koroni is about 15 minutes by car. Here you can do your daily groceries in the local supermarket ‘Sipsas’ or drink very good coffee or eat at the harbor at one of the many Greek tavernas.
From the veranda you look across the street at the flower garden of the (Swedish) neighbors and over it you look at the sea with behind it the mountains of Mani and the Taygetos mountains. To the left of the house is also a veranda, without a roof but with an (edible) olive tree that gives a lot of shade. This veranda is covered with tiles. You can also park a car there. Behind the house there is a third veranda, covered with tiles, with a large Beach umbrella.
There is also an (oil) olive tree. Around the plot is an iron fence of about 60 meters long. An extra water tank of approx. 300 liters of water is available as a reserve in case of loss of water pressure.
The holiday home build in 2007 is divided as follows: through the front door you enter a small hall with a toilet and storage cupboard. Then you enter a spacious living room with dining area and sitting area. There is TV reception via a modem for the local Greek channels and a dish for satellite reception. There is also ADSL connection from OTE / Cosmote with a modem with WiFi.
There is a spacious open kitchen with an electric oven with an (as good as new) ceramic hot plate. This kitchen is also equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator and a small freezer. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. There is a bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink and furniture for the bathroom.
There is also an electric boiler and a (as good as new) washing machine.The living room and both bedrooms have air conditioning, which can also extracting moisture and provide heat. The living room has two oil-filled radiators for the cold days in the winter period.
There are 39 solar panels on the roof and on the roof of the veranda, good for 10 kW yield.
A net annual return of approximately € 1,600.00 from the electricity company DEH for the returned electricity. These solar panels were installed in 2015, an investment of approximately € 17,000 for the whole.
